HBK Lawyers SMS Opt-In Evidence
This page provides documentation of the SMS consent methods used by HBK Lawyers for A2P 10DLC compliance and campaign verification.
HBK Lawyers obtains SMS consent through the following methods:
- Online intake forms
- Online client questionnaires
- Telephone intake calls
- Attorney-client onboarding and representation processes
Method 1: Online Intake Form Consent
Prospective clients may provide consent by completing an online intake form and voluntarily providing their mobile phone number.
Prior to submitting the form, users must actively select an unchecked SMS consent checkbox acknowledging their agreement to receive SMS communications from HBK Lawyers.
The consent disclosure includes:
- Message frequency disclosure
- Message and data rate disclosure
- STOP opt-out instructions
- HELP assistance instructions
- Link to SMS Terms & Conditions
- Link to SMS Privacy Policy
Consent is recorded and stored when the form is submitted.

Prospective clients voluntarily provide their full name and mobile phone number through the HBK Lawyers online intake process. The form presents SMS consent disclosures prior to submission.

The SMS disclosure informs users about the types of messages they may receive, message frequency, message and data rates, STOP opt-out instructions, HELP instructions, and that consent is not required to obtain legal services.

Users must actively select an unchecked SMS consent checkbox before submitting the form. Consent is not preselected and requires affirmative action by the user.

For telephone intake calls, HBK Lawyers representatives provide required SMS disclosures and obtain express verbal consent before SMS communications are initiated.

SMS consent is documented and retained as part of the client intake record when the form is submitted or when verbal consent is obtained through the intake process.
Method 2: Telephone Intake Consent
Prospective clients may also provide express verbal consent during a telephone intake call with an HBK Lawyers representative.
Before SMS messages are sent, the intake representative reads the following disclosure:
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Reply HELP for assistance.
Do you consent to receive SMS messages from HBK Lawyers at this phone number?
If consent is provided, the intake representative documents the consent in the intake record before SMS communications are sent.
